Creating beautiful shadow effect using Paint Shop Pro 9 (Part 2)

At last time, I tried to create a glass shadow effect for the text using Paint Shop Pro v9 with simply Layer and Masking technique, and this time I tried to create again with perspective shadow effect but without Masking technique. Certainly easier and the result is good too. The steps was not different with last time.

These are the steps :

Step 1
Open a new 400X200 pixel image with a white background.

Step 2
Add a new Raster layer to this image.

Step 3
Click on the Text tool and put the text at the left of the image. Example Arial font with 48 pt size in bold style, don't forget to select 'Selection' in Create as:.
And then, Click on the Fill tool , select a color from the Materials Palette to the text.

Step 4Add ImageDuplicate current Layer. Click Image menu and select Flip.
Click on the Deformation tool , drag the text down. And use the Deformation tool to change the shape of the gradient filled text. Remember, to skew the text, press the SHIFT key. Change the opacity of the layer (in Layer panel) that contains the gradient filled text to 40.

Step 5
Repeat the steps from step 2 to step 4 but with a different text. In this steps, you can create with your creativity. Use the skew and rotate the text to create a perspective effect.

The final result show resemble the image on the top.
